I've learnt the same thing more than once, as many times as it took for me to completely understand why it kept repeating itself. If you don't change and learn from your mistakes then all that's left is for you to experience the same thing. As hard as it can be sometimes, it has to happen. It's like a constant slap in the face. The burn is so familiar, but not familiar enough for you to think to turn your cheek away. Sometimes the last burn can hurt more than the first, simply because it reinforces the first and carries with it every other burn that ever existed. That's life hey, a series of unfortunate events. The part they forget to mention is what comes after these events, and that is something beautiful.
